STEPPING OUT OF THE RIVER:

a One-Day Writing Retreat

Life moves rapidly, and change is constant. No wonder ancient poets referred to time as a river. We are perpetually carried forward, often through choppy waters. Whatever we encounter along the way, we adapt to meet it, then we’re quickly propelled toward the next challenge, and the next, and the next.

Rarely do we find space to
pause, reflect, acknowledge, celebrate, explore, and restore.

Yet this is exactly what we need to do to remain resilient and joyful:
understand our journeys, honor our strengths, and activate our creativity.

That is the plan for this writing retreat: Step out of the river, crawl up on the bank, and lovingly consider: Where have you been? How have you managed? How has it changed you? Who are you now?

Our Activities Will Include:

  • Meditations to invite us into the present moment
  • Journal prompts to promote self-exploration
  • Discussions to open new perspectives
  • Writing experiments to tap our creativity
  • Opportunities to witness and to be witnessed in a supportive community

If you're ready to step out of the river and engage in some soul-clearing, identity-exploring, energy-releasing, self-loving, creativity-generating goodness, join me.
